Biography
Born in Canada to a Bahamian father and Canadian mother, Nadia was raised between cultures — an experience that continues to shape her artistic voice. Now based in the United States, she creates intimate mixed-media works that blend photography, found materials, handwritten fragments, and archival textures into emotionally resonant compositions.
Drawing inspiration from both Caribbean and North American influences, Nadia’s pieces often examine themes of belonging, Black identity, womanhood, and generational connection. Her work has developed a quiet but growing following for its deeply personal narratives and contemporary visual style.
